VULCAIN CRICKET TITANIUM: THE SOUND OF AN ICON REINVENTED

Vulcain unveils a new evolution of its legendary Cricket with the introduction of the Cricket Titanium, a limited edition of 100 pieces that combines the brand's historic mechanical alarm with the advantages of one of modern watchmaking's most advanced materials. Crafted entirely from titanium and assembled at the manufacture in Le Locle, this model delivers a renewed acoustic experience while preserving the DNA that has defined the Cricket for nearly 80 years.

Titanium in the Service of Performance

For this new version, Vulcain has chosen titanium for its lightness, durability, and excellent vibration properties. These characteristics allow the iconic Cricket alarm to resonate more effectively, enhancing the projection of the sound that has made this watch a benchmark in mechanical watchmaking.

In addition to the case, key movement components, the anvil, and Vulcain’s signature “V” have also been crafted from titanium. This uncommon approach required significant technical adaptations throughout the development and assembly process.

A Movement Faithful to Its Heritage

Inside the 39 mm case beats the hand wound Vulcain Cricket V14 manufacture calibre, composed of 157 components and offering a 52 hour power reserve. The mechanical alarm retains its traditional operation, delivering a distinctive sound for approximately 20 seconds.

The movement also features the Exactomatic system, a proprietary Vulcain technology designed to ensure consistent amplitude and stable accuracy regardless of the power reserve level.

Contemporary Design and Limited Production

The Cricket Titanium features a grey titanium dial with a guilloché effect, complemented by nickel plated indexes and blued hands that add contrast and elegance. Through the sapphire crystal caseback, owners can admire the movement's Côtes de Genève finishing, blued screws, and the engraved “Titane” inscription.

Limited to just 100 pieces, this new Cricket combines tradition, innovation, and comfort in a watch designed for enthusiasts seeking a modern interpretation of one of watchmaking’s most iconic complications.

A Classic Ready for the Future

With the Cricket Titanium, Vulcain demonstrates that innovation and tradition can coexist. Through the extensive use of titanium and the preservation of its legendary mechanical alarm, the Swiss brand delivers a contemporary reinterpretation of one of its most emblematic timepieces, ready to appeal to a new generation of collectors.
