PEQUIGNET ROYALE PARIS ICY BLUE: GLACIAL ELEGANCE POWERED BY THE CALIBRE ROYAL

The Royale Paris collection by PEQUIGNET continues to evolve with the introduction of the new Royale Paris Icy Blue 39.5 mm, a model featuring a refined icy blue dial inspired by the winter landscapes of the Jura Mountains. This new shade brings a sense of freshness and sophistication to one of the French manufacture’s most emblematic timepieces, combining practical complications with a contemporary and timeless aesthetic.

An Icy Blue Dial Inspired by Nature

The new Royale Paris Icy Blue immediately stands out thanks to its delicate dial color, a cool and luminous tone that evokes the purity of the snow-covered Jura landscapes. This new interpretation enhances the craftsmanship behind the dial’s various textures, where the grained finish, sandblasted engravings, and fluted small seconds subdial create an engaging visual experience.

The clarity of this slightly metallic blue also makes it easier to appreciate the different indications displayed on the dial. The large date occupies a central position for optimal legibility, while the power reserve indicator is located at 8 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, the double moon phase display offers a realistic representation visible from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, with diamond-polished moons adding an extra touch of brilliance.

The Signature Design of the Royale Paris Collection

Recently redesigned, the Royale Paris collection retains several elements that have defined its identity over the years. Among them are the distinctive elongated lugs, a recognizable PEQUIGNET signature that contributes to the elegance and balance of the 39.5 mm stainless steel case.

The case combines polished and satin-brushed surfaces and is protected by a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The crown features the embossed fleur-de-lys logo, while the screw-secured bezel reinforces the watch’s technical yet refined character. With a water resistance rating of 5 ATM and a thickness of 11.50 mm, the Royale Paris Icy Blue offers versatile proportions suitable for both daily wear and more formal occasions.

The Calibre Royal, a Showcase of French Watchmaking

At the heart of this new reference beats the Calibre Royal®, the first in-house movement developed by PEQUIGNET and one of the most significant achievements in contemporary French watchmaking. This automatic movement integrates all of its complications on a single mainplate, a technical solution that enhances both efficiency and mechanical reliability.

Developed in Morteau, the Calibre Royal® is manufactured exclusively with components sourced within an 80-kilometer radius of the manufacture. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, incorporates 39 jewels, and delivers an impressive 96-hour power reserve. The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback secured by six screws, where the rhodium-finished oscillating weight with 3N gold-tone details further highlights the attention to detail.

Comfort and Personalization for Everyday Wear

The Royale Paris Icy Blue 39.5 mm is paired with a pearl gray nubuck leather strap that perfectly complements the dial’s color. Thanks to its quick-change system, owners can easily swap straps to adapt the watch to different styles and occasions. The package is completed by a stainless steel folding clasp adorned with the fleur-de-lys logo

With the new Royale Paris Icy Blue 39.5 mm, PEQUIGNET presents a fresh and sophisticated interpretation of one of its most important collections. The combination of a dial inspired by the icy landscapes of the Jura Mountains, a carefully refined design, and the prestigious Calibre Royal® makes this reference an appealing choice for enthusiasts seeking manufacture watchmaking with a distinct identity, technical excellence, and an elegant style capable of transcending trends.
