Presented at Time to Watches Geneva, the Aerowatch Harmonie “Butterfly” established itself as one of the most delicate and expressive proposals in contemporary women’s watchmaking. Inspired by the success of the “Butterfly” collection, this model reinterprets the concept with a new case and an even more artistic approach to the passage of time.
A living dial: the art of transformation
The centerpiece of the watch is its silver white dial, adorned with a wave-like pattern that evokes gentle forms shaped by the wind. Set against this dynamic backdrop, the butterflies take center stage with a unique behavior: they change color with each passing hour. With one exception, their appearance evolves throughout the day, creating a constantly shifting visual spectacle that turns every glance at the watch into a new experience.
Details that elevate the design
The leaf-shaped hands, enhanced with luminescent treatment, glide subtly across the dial, reinforcing a sense of lightness and fluidity. At 6 o’clock, a discreet date window adds functionality without disrupting the harmony of the design. At 12 o’clock, a 0.004-carat diamond (VS1, F color) introduces a refined point of brilliance, complemented by ten rhodium-plated spherical indices that complete the time display with elegance.
Swiss precision at its core
At the heart of the watch lies a Swiss-made 11½-line quartz movement, ensuring accurate and reliable timekeeping. This mechanism underscores the model’s practical character, combining refined aesthetics with ease of use and minimal maintenance.
Case, materials, and versatility
The 35 mm case is available in stainless steel or in a yellow PVD-coated version, offering different stylistic options. The snap-in case back and domed sapphire crystal provide durability, while water resistance up to 50 meters makes it suitable for everyday wear.
Strap options and finishes
The watch is paired with an elegant white fine Vacoa leather strap, adorned with delicate stitching and fitted with a classic customized pin buckle. For a more contemporary or versatile look, versions with a stainless steel bracelet or a matching yellow PVD-coated steel bracelet are also available.
Beyond its technical specifications, the Aerowatch Harmonie “Butterfly” stands out for its symbolic depth. The butterfly, an enduring emblem of transformation and renewal, becomes a dynamic element within the watch, reflecting the passage of time in both a visual and emotional way. This is a timepiece that does not just measure hours, it transforms them into an ever-evolving aesthetic experience.
