Marathon Jumbo Self-Setting Wall Clock with Auto Backlight and Power Adapter
Marathon Watch Company traces its roots to 1904, when Hersh Wein founded Weinstrum Watch. His son Morris Wein founded Marathon in Montreal in 1939, and by 1941 the brand was supplying wristwatches and timing instruments to Allied forces.
Today Marathon is headquartered in Vaughan, Canada, and assembles its watches in its own factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It still develops and supplies timepieces under contract to the Canadian, U.S. and British governments and other Allied forces.
The range is built around three families: the Search and Rescue (SAR) dive watches, the Navigator pilot watches and the General Purpose field watches, lit with tritium gas tubes and MaraGlo luminescence.
Marathon’s Jumbo Atomic Wall Clock with Auto Backlight and Power Adapter offers an easy-to-read display featuring time, date, and temperature.. This clock has been designed with absolute simplicity in mind, featuring self-setting and self-adjusting functions with easy-to-set slide-switches. The display includes an ambient light sensor, which triggers a back light for increased legibility in dark environments.
