Marathon 46mm Arctic Edition Jumbo Day/Date Automatic (JDD) with Stainless Steel Bracelet
Marathon Watch Company traces its roots to 1904, when Hersh Wein founded Weinstrum Watch. His son Morris Wein founded Marathon in Montreal in 1939, and by 1941 the brand was supplying wristwatches and timing instruments to Allied forces.
Today Marathon is headquartered in Vaughan, Canada, and assembles its watches in its own factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It still develops and supplies timepieces under contract to the Canadian, U.S. and British governments and other Allied forces.
The range is built around three families: the Search and Rescue (SAR) dive watches, the Navigator pilot watches and the General Purpose field watches, lit with tritium gas tubes and MaraGlo luminescence.
The 46mm Arctic JDD is a rugged dive watch designed for professional Search & Rescue use, specifically in bright and hazardous environments. Featuring an Arctic White dial for increased legibility in daylight operations and submersible up to 30ATM, the 46mm Arctic JDD is hand-crafted to provide ultimate endurance above or below sea-level. Includes Stainless Steel Bracelet.
