Marathon Watch Company traces its roots to 1904, when Hersh Wein founded Weinstrum Watch. His son Morris Wein founded Marathon in Montreal in 1939, and by 1941 the brand was supplying wristwatches and timing instruments to Allied forces.
Today Marathon is headquartered in Vaughan, Canada, and assembles its watches in its own factory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It still develops and supplies timepieces under contract to the Canadian, U.S. and British governments and other Allied forces.
The range is built around three families: the Search and Rescue (SAR) dive watches, the Navigator pilot watches and the General Purpose field watches, lit with tritium gas tubes and MaraGlo luminescence.
Marathon's Stainless Steel Bracelet is a professional-grade accessory for serious divers and rescue professionals. Made from durable 316L stainless steel, this bracelet features 14 solid links and a double-screw link system for added security during extreme activities. This military-grade bracelet is the same one supplied to the U.S. Government, ensuring reliability and toughness. While designed specifically for Marathon's Medium Diver's collection, it is compatible with other models and brands.
