DWISS is the most design-awarded Swiss microbrand in the world. Founded in 2011 by industrial designer Rafael Simoes Miranda in Lugano, Switzerland, the brand was built around a single conviction: any watch can tell time, the question is how differently it can do it. With more than 34 international design awards to its name — including the iF Design Award 2026, nine consecutive European Product Design Awards, and multiple International Design Awards — DWISS has established a record no other independent Swiss brand has matched. Every model is a strictly limited edition. Once sold out, it is permanently retired and never reissued. The M3S Mysterious Signature Hours is the fullest expression of that philosophy. Its centrepiece is the proprietary DWISS Mysterious Hours system — a multi-layered dial construction in which a hidden rotating disc carries the hour indication, presenting it within architectural windows positioned between the indexes. The hours appear to float with no visible mechanism behind them, suspended in the dial as if by intention alone. The M3S is powered by a Swiss Made Sellita SW-200-1 Elaboré automatic movement running at 4Hz with 42 hours of power reserve and Incabloc® shock protection. The 42mm, 316L stainless steel case is rated to 20 ATM — 200 metres — and features a see-through caseback and a sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating. A signature quick-release strap mechanism allows exchange between the FKM rubber strap and solid steel bracelet without tools. Each edition is limited to 500 pieces per reference. When a reference closes, it does not return.
