ELKA ARINIS AF02-1001
ELKA ARINIS AF02-1001
ABOUT REBELS AND VISIONARIES. Inspired by the times when a product was kept for life. You invested in durability, quality and uniqueness.
The mindset is to step back to that period in the 1960s. To those pure and colourful aesthetics we still remember; back to the magical dreams of the space race, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and Woodstock; a return to the struggles, the changes, the rebellious spirit that so marked that decade.

A design inspired by history
The Arinis remains faithful to the design codes established by Elka, taking its typical 60s-70s look from the original series. It features a ceramic bezel, luminescent numerals for optimal readability underwater, and water resistance to 20 bars (200 metres).
The name ‘Arinis’ recalls the ancient past of the Neuchâtel region, dating back to 12,000 BC. Marked by the presence of lake-dwelling civilisations, the Celts and the Romans right up to the present day, the design of the Arinis is inspired by this rich tapestry.
Every detail of the watch recounts a part of the past
The ceramic bezel inspired by Roman ceramics found on the Devil's Path
The fish engraved on the back, a nod to the fascinating artefacts submerged in the depths of the lake.
Its name is inspired by that of the village, named by the Romans in the 10th century.
The hands were inspired by an arrow found on the shores of the lake, dating back to 12,000 BC.
