Brand Heritage
A Swiss Manufacture Since 1966
Soprod has developed and manufactured mechanical movements and complications since 1966. It joined the Festina Group in 2008 and today operates as Festina · Soprod Suisse, producing at its own sites in Les Reussilles, Sentier, Saignelégier, Muriaux, Sion and Maîche.
This is the engine room of the Festina Group — Swiss movements made under its own roof.
The Heart of the Movement, Made In-House
Soprod is one of the very few Swiss manufacturers to produce its own balance springs (hairsprings), pallet forks and escape wheels — the regulating organ most brands have to buy from outside.
The hairspring is the hardest part to make in a mechanical watch. Soprod makes its own — that's rare.
Calibres Inside Group Watches
Soprod calibres power Festina Swiss Made watches — the P024 in Rivé, Classics and Vallée, skeleton P024 SQ versions, and the P092 Newton in the COSC-certified Diver COSC.
When a client asks 'who makes the movement?', the answer for these watches is: the group itself, in Switzerland.
