Brand Heritage

Born in Switzerland in 1902

Festina was founded in 1902 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, one of the historic capitals of Swiss watchmaking. In 1984 the Spanish entrepreneur Miguel Rodríguez acquired the brand and built the Festina Group around it, which today sells around 5 million watches a year in more than 90 countries.

Seller Talking Point

Festina isn't a fashion label that added watches — it is a watchmaker with Swiss roots that goes back more than 120 years.

A Long Bond with Cycling

Festina's relationship with cycling dates back to the 1940s. From 1992 to 2016 it was the official timekeeper of the Tour de France, and the brand still uses the sport's demands for precision and endurance as the brief for its Chrono Bike chronographs.

Seller Talking Point

For over two decades this brand timed the Tour de France. The Chrono Bike carries that DNA: chronograph, 20 ATM and a case built for hard use.

The Connected Watch that Still Looks Like a Watch

Festina Connected D keeps a classic analogue face while adding filtered notifications, music control, activity and sleep tracking, silent alarms and an additional time zone. Battery life is up to 10 days per charge, plus 7 more days in low-power mode.

Seller Talking Point

All the smarts, still a watch — for clients who want notifications without wearing a screen.

Objection Handling

Isn't Festina just a Spanish fashion brand?

Festina was founded in 1902 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Its group runs a production centre in Switzerland, owns its own Swiss movement maker (Soprod) and offers a full Swiss Made line.

  • Founded in Switzerland in 1902
  • Group-owned Swiss production and movement manufacture
  • Festina Swiss Made line with in-house automatic calibres
Why not just buy a smartwatch?

Connected D gives the useful parts of a smartwatch — notifications, music control, activity and sleep tracking — while still looking like a real watch, and it only needs charging every 10 days or so.

  • Real analogue dial
  • Up to 10 days battery, plus 7 in low-power mode
  • Notifications filtered to the people that matter
Why Festina instead of a cheaper fashion watch?

You get proper watch construction — 316L steel, chronographs and up to 20 ATM water resistance on the Chrono Bike — from a brand with more than 120 years of history and after-sales service in over 90 countries.

  • 316L stainless steel
  • Up to 20 ATM on Chrono Bike
  • After-sales support from the Festina Group
