CZAPEK & CIE
Czapek & Cie is a Swiss watch brand with a storied history that dates back to the mid-19th century. Founded in 1845 by Polish watchmaker François Czapek and his partner Juliusz Gruzewski, the company quickly gained prominence for its exceptional timepieces, becoming the official watchmaker to Emperor Napoleon III and opening boutiques in Geneva, Paris, and Warsaw. Despite its early success, the brand ceased operations around 1869. In 2011, Czapek & Cie was revived by a group of enthusiasts, who reestablished the company’s commitment to crafting high-quality, handcrafted Swiss watches that blend traditional techniques with contemporary design.
