Carl Suchy & Söhne is an independent watch brand from Vienna with a legacy dating back to 1822. Founded by Carl Suchy, the company became the most important watchmaker of the Danube monarchy and a trusted supplier to the imperial court, a success that led to the establishment of stores and workshops in Prague, Vienna and La Chaux-de-Fonds. Its clientele included figures such as Sigmund Freud and Empress Elisabeth of Austria, who valued the brand for its innovative design and exceptional quality.

In 2017 Carl Suchy & Söhne was revived by Robert Punkenhofer and Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, bringing new life to this heritage. Today the brand stands for Viennese tradition combined with modern watchmaking: its timepieces are conceived in Vienna and carefully manufactured in Austria and Switzerland, and at the heart of the brand lies a distinct approach to horology shaped by Vienna's intellectual and cultural heritage. Its stated values are highest quality craftsmanship, design and creativity, Viennese elegance, exclusiveness and sustainability — watches and clocks are designed to last, with materials chosen for durability and an explicit encouragement of repair and maintenance so that every timepiece can be cherished for generations. Annual production is strictly limited, with production cycles of three to five months and small, carefully managed editions produced entirely in Austria and Switzerland.
