Delete your WatchDNA account
WatchDNA is published by Northern Watch Services Inc. This page explains how to delete your WatchDNA account and what happens to your data.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app
- Open WatchDNA and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Ask us to delete it
If you no longer have the app installed, email info@watchdna.com from the address you used to sign up, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account and login details, including your email address
- Your profile, display name and profile picture
- Your posts, comments and likes
- Your saved brands and favourites
What is kept, and for how long
- Photos and videos you previously uploaded may remain on our media hosting provider for up to 90 days before they are purged from backups.
- Anonymous app usage and crash records are kept for up to 12 months. These are not linked to your name or email address and cannot be used to identify you.
- Records we must keep to meet legal or accounting obligations, where applicable.
