RADO THE SEARCH: THE ART OF GIVING TIME MEANING
With The Search, Rado explores the meaning we give to the objects that accompany us through life. Starring global brand ambassador Hrithik Roshan, the campaign reflects on how certain things become special through the memories, emotions and personal connections they represent. This idea comes to life through two distinctive timepieces, the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph and the Rado Centrix Open Heart Diamonds, each expressing a different side of the brand's identity.
Design and performance in the Rado Captain Cook
Bold and contemporary, the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph reflects a spirit of adventure through its sporty design and distinctive materials. Its 43 mm plasma high-tech ceramic case has a metallic appearance, complemented by a blue ceramic bezel insert and rose gold-coloured details. Together, these elements create a balance between strength and sophistication.
Inside, the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph houses the automatic Rado R801 calibre, offering a chronograph function and a 59-hour power reserve. Its water resistance to 300 metres adds to its performance-oriented character, while the ceramic construction gives the watch a distinctive presence on the wrist. It is a timepiece that brings together technical capability and a design made to stand out.
The Rado Centrix Open Heart Diamonds: Emotion on Display
The Rado Centrix Open Heart Diamonds offers a more delicate interpretation of watchmaking. Its 35 mm case combines rose gold-coloured details with a silver mother-of-pearl dial and diamonds, creating a refined interplay of light and texture. The open-heart design reveals part of the automatic movement, making the mechanics an integral part of its visual appeal.
Powered by the Rado R734 calibre, the Rado Centrix Open Heart Diamonds provides an 80-hour power reserve. Its bracelet combines rose gold-coloured PVD-coated stainless steel with plasma high-tech ceramic middle links, bringing together contrasting materials in a harmonious design. These details give the watch a character that feels both elegant and contemporary, while its visible movement adds a sense of connection to the craftsmanship behind it.
When Innovation Becomes Personal
Plasma high-tech ceramic connects the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph and the Rado Centrix Open Heart Diamonds, demonstrating how one material can take on different expressions. In the Rado Captain Cook, it reinforces a sporty and adventurous aesthetic. In the Rado Centrix, it complements the mother-of-pearl dial, diamonds and rose gold-coloured finishes, contributing to a more refined appearance.
Although these two Rado watches differ in style and character, both reflect the idea at the heart of The Search: objects can become meaningful through what they represent to us. Their design, materials and mechanical details are part of their appeal, but their significance can extend beyond their technical qualities.

Through the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph and the Rado Centrix Open Heart Diamonds, Rado presents two interpretations of contemporary watchmaking, each with its own personality. Ultimately, The Search reminds us that the value of time lies not only in how we measure it, but also in the experiences, memories and connections that make it meaningful.
