Following the success of the first collaboration between PEQUIGNET and the Presidency of the French Republic, the watchmaker introduces the Attitude Élysée #2 Edition Liberté, a limited edition of only 100 individually numbered pieces. This new timepiece symbolizes the union between French watchmaking tradition, artisanal expertise, and the values of liberty that represent France. Its pre-order will open symbolically on July 14, 2026, France’s National Day.

A meeting between haute horlogerie and French identity

The story of this collaboration began in 2021 during the “Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France”, where PEQUIGNET was selected to represent French craftsmanship excellence. This encounter with the Élysée Palace led to a shared vision: creating an exceptional watch that reflects the identity of the French Republic and the capabilities of an independent French watchmaker.

In 2023, this partnership resulted in the first Attitude Élysée, a limited edition of 300 timepieces. Today, the collection continues with the Edition Liberté, a model that maintains PEQUIGNET’s commitment to exceptional French watchmaking.

Blue as a symbol of liberty

The Attitude Élysée #2 Edition Liberté stands out with its blue dial, inspired by the first color of the French Republic’s motto: Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité. Its Clous de Paris guilloché pattern creates changing reflections depending on the light, offering a dynamic and elegant appearance.

The white details on the hands and the central red seconds hand complete the design with the colors of France, while the “RF” logo appears as a distinctive signature throughout the watch, including the dial, crown, oscillating weight, and buckle.

A completely French movement

Inside the Attitude Élysée #2 Edition Liberté beats the Calibre Initial®, an automatic bidirectional movement developed and assembled in Morteau, one of the historic centers of French watchmaking. This calibre offers a 65-hour power reserve, a frequency of 4 Hz, and features 21 jewels.

PEQUIGNET stands among the few French maisons producing its own movements in-house, using components sourced mainly from the Morteau region. The Calibre Initial® includes 72% French-made components, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to the Made in France philosophy.

A timepiece dedicated to French heritage

The watch features a 39 mm polished stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal caseback revealing the movement, and water resistance up to 5 ATM. Its blue leather strap with red stitching adds a final touch of elegance inspired by the national colors.

The Attitude Élysée #2 Edition Liberté is part of the “Élysée – Présidence de la République” brand, created to promote French excellence and support the preservation of the Élysée Palace heritage through a portion of the proceeds.
