NORQAIN WILD ONE SKELETON X-LITE TURQUOISE: EXTREME LIGHTNESS WITH AN UNMISTAKABLE IDENTITY
The NORQAIN Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise takes the brand's pursuit of lightness and durability in a new aesthetic direction. Weighing just 45 grams, this model combines innovative materials with NORQAIN's signature turquoise, set against a predominantly black construction. The result is a sports watch that brings together innovation, personality and a skeletonised architecture that reveals part of its mechanical movement.
A Construction Designed for Lightness
The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite case is made up of more than 30 components that incorporate materials such as NORTEQ®, titanium, aluminium, rubber and the X-Lite carbon fibre composite. Each material contributes to a structure designed to reduce weight without compromising durability.
Developed in collaboration with Swiss material specialists BIWI, X-Lite is an evolution of NORTEQ® designed to deliver greater lightness and shock absorption. Used in the casing ring, it contributes to the watch's overall resilience. During testing, the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite demonstrated resistance to impacts exceeding 5,000 G.
The 41 mm case combines black NORTEQ® components, a black DLC-coated titanium container and an aluminium case back. Turquoise rubber shock absorbers add a distinctive visual contrast while contributing to a construction designed for an active lifestyle. The watch also offers water resistance to 100 metres.
A Skeletonised Movement Inspired by the Mountains
At its heart, the watch features the NORQAIN 4K Manufacture Calibre (NK26/1), a mechanical automatic movement developed in collaboration with AMT and certified as a chronometer by the COSC. It provides a 65-hour power reserve, 24 jewels and a bidirectional automatic winding system, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The skeletonised architecture reveals elements of the movement, while the bridges and oscillating weight feature shapes inspired by mountain peaks. This detail connects the watch's visual identity with the adventurous spirit that defines the Wild ONE collection.
The black skeletonised dial features turquoise accents, indices outlined with Super-LumiNova® and faceted hands with luminous tips. This combination enhances legibility while maintaining a cohesive design. The flat sapphire crystal features double-sided anti-reflective treatment and scratch resistance, while the transparent case back offers a view of the movement.
Turquoise as a Signature Colour
The new colour transforms the character of the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite while preserving its sporty appeal. Turquoise appears on the rubber shock absorbers, crown insert, dial details and straps, creating a striking contrast between dark tones and vibrant accents.
NORQAIN offers two strap options to suit different preferences. The first combines black and turquoise rubber in a double-layered construction, with a perforated upper layer revealing the colour beneath. The second features a perforated black rubber upper layer paired with an interchangeable, ultra-light turquoise stretch band designed to adapt naturally to the wrist.
This alternative offers a different feel and allows for a personalised fit, while both options maintain the focus on lightness and comfort. The watch also comes in a specially designed presentation box featuring an integrated watch winder.
A New Expression of the Wild ONE Collection
The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise joins NORQAIN's permanent collection, with production limited to 300 pieces per year worldwide. It is available in two strap configurations, both designed to complement its ultra-light construction and sporty aesthetic.
With this version, NORQAIN brings together three essential elements of its approach to watchmaking: innovative materials, durability and a recognisable visual identity. The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise demonstrates that the pursuit of a lighter watch does not have to limit design expression. Instead, it creates an opportunity to explore new combinations of materials, colours and forms.
