MIDO MULTIFORT TV BIG DATE CHRONOMETER: CERTIFIED PRECISION IN AN ICONIC DESIGN

When every second counts, precision becomes essential. The MIDO Multifort TV Big Date Chronometer takes one of the brand’s most distinctive designs to a new level as the first model in the collection to feature a COSC-certified movement. Combining certified precision, a power reserve of up to 80 hours, and a Big Date display, it brings together mechanical performance and the recognizable design of the Multifort TV line.

A movement built for precision

At the heart of this model is the automatic Caliber 80 COSC, which provides a power reserve of up to 80 hours. Its COSC certification highlights its focus on precision, while the Nivachron™ balance spring offers resistance to magnetic fields and everyday shocks.

These features place precision and functionality at the center of the watch’s appeal. According to MIDO, the combination of COSC-certified performance and Big Date functionality is unique within its price segment.

A blue dial with distinctive details

The blue dial features a sunray satin finish complemented by a rectangular chequerboard pattern that adds visual depth. Redesigned indexes and a stepped flange with a minute track emphasize attention to detail while maintaining a clear and organized display.

At 12 o’clock, an applied frame draws attention to the Big Date display, one of the watch’s defining features. This oversized date indication adds a distinctive element to the dial while complementing the rectangular geometry that characterizes the Multifort TV collection.

A rectangular case with functional features

The 316L stainless steel case preserves the collection’s distinctive silhouette, measuring 40 mm in width, 39.2 mm in length, and 11.5 mm in thickness. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal featuring double-sided anti-reflective coating, while the transparent case back offers a view of the movement.

The screw-down crown contributes to water resistance of up to 10 bar, equivalent to 100 meters or 330 feet. Weighing 155 grams, the watch combines its stainless steel construction with a substantial presence on the wrist.

A stainless steel bracelet completes the design

The Multifort TV Big Date Chronometer comes with a grey stainless steel bracelet featuring a 22 mm lug width. A butterfly clasp with push-buttons completes the design, maintaining visual continuity with the metallic case.

The model is identified by reference M049.567.11.041.00 and comes with a five-year warranty. These details complement a configuration that brings together the case, bracelet, and dial in a cohesive design.

An evolution that preserves its identity

With the Multifort TV Big Date Chronometer, MIDO strengthens the identity of one of its most recognizable collections by introducing COSC certification while preserving the design elements that set it apart. The result is a timepiece that brings together mechanical precision, practical functionality, and a distinctive aesthetic defined by its rectangular case and blue dial.
