Edox presents the latest evolution of its Grand Ocean collection, a line that reinforces its maritime identity through a cleaner, more refined, and contemporary design. True to its classic essence yet driven by a sporty spirit, this new release consolidates the brand’s deep connection with the sea.
A More Refined and Versatile Design
The renewed Grand Ocean opts for a more streamlined aesthetic, starting with a 40 mm stainless steel case also available with a PVD coating, offering a smoother and more elegant construction. This evolution not only improves its appearance but also enhances versatility for everyday wear.
The design is complemented by a slightly domed sapphire crystal, which provides a more sophisticated profile and a modern presence on the wrist, while its water resistance of up to 300 meters (30 ATM) ensures reliable performance even in demanding aquatic environments. Features such as the screw-down crown and double O-ring system further strengthen its durability.
Wave-Pattern Dial: Identity in Motion
One of the most distinctive elements of this new generation is its wave-pattern dial. Available in black, blue, silver, or green, the design introduces a subtle yet dynamic texture inspired by the constant movement of the ocean.
The surface plays with light and adds visual depth, reinforcing the collection's maritime character. Luminescent hands and indices ensure excellent legibility under any condition.

Visible Mechanics: The Beauty of the Movement
The Grand Ocean Automatic features a transparent caseback that reveals the movement in action. Inside beats the Edox 80 calibre, based on the Sellita SW200, an automatic mechanism that displays hours, minutes, and seconds with precision and reliability.
This self-winding system comes to life with every movement of the wrist, offering a direct connection between the wearer, time, and pure mechanical energy. No batteries or shortcuts are involved, reflecting the essence of traditional watchmaking.

Versatility for Every Lifestyle
Designed to adapt to different occasions and lifestyles, the new Grand Ocean is structured into three main lines: automatic models, men’s quartz, and women’s quartz versions.
The collection offers multiple configurations, including stainless steel bracelets or NATO straps, allowing a natural transition between sporty use and a more elegant context while maintaining its distinctive character.
A Heritage Connected to the Sea
Edox’s connection with the sailing world dates back to 2008 when the brand took its first major step into professional sailing by participating in timekeeping projects for international regattas. Since then, the Grand Ocean collection has become a symbol of this connection, combining distinctive design and watchmaking engineering in pieces that capture the true spirit of the ocean.
