CHARLIE CONCORDIA RETURNS WITH A NEW SPIRIT OF EXPLORATION
The spirit of CONCORDIA returns with a new generation of exploration watches inspired by the stories they help create. With this collection, CHARLIE maintains a clear objective: to design reliable, robust, and timeless watches, created to accompany their wearer from everyday adventures to the most demanding expeditions. More than a symbol of escape, CONCORDIA presents itself as a true travel companion, able to be part of moments of action as well as those instances when time seems to stand still.

A watch designed to accompany adventure
An expedition is not defined solely by performance. It is also made of waiting and progress, fatigue and wonder, solitude and encounters. It is through these experiences that each watch reveals its true essence. CONCORDIA accompanies both those preparing their equipment before setting out and those stopping to take in an impressive landscape, remaining present during the most intense moments as well as those when one simply takes time to observe the passing of time.
This philosophy is also reflected in the collection's promotional short film, produced in collaboration with director Thomas Meurot and the organization No Palm Tree Surfing. The film presents a watch designed for exploration, movement, and discovery, capable of responding to adverse conditions, remaining easy to read as light fades, and accompanying its wearer when the terrain imposes its own rules.

An expedition to the far reaches of Finnmark
In this story, the No Palm Tree Surfing organization meets with the Sami people, considered the last Indigenous people of Europe. The surfers embark on an extraordinary adventure to the far reaches of Finnmark, in northern Norway, with the goal of surfing waves that have never been explored before.

The setting could hardly be more demanding: an icy landscape where the ocean meets the wild tundra. Yet this experience goes far beyond a simple sporting challenge. The expedition becomes a story of exploration and discovery, a setting that directly connects with the spirit that defines CONCORDIA.
A collection born in Antarctica
The story of CONCORDIA began in 2018, when CHARLIE launched the collection inspired by an extraordinary expedition undertaken by French adventurer Matthieu Tordeur. The watch was developed to meet the specifications of Tordeur's journey across Antarctica, a completely self-sufficient expedition covering nearly 1,150 kilometers over 51 days, in temperatures reaching as low as -37 degrees.

During this adventure, Matthieu Tordeur became the first Frenchman and the youngest explorer to ski from the Antarctic coast, at Hercules Inlet, to the South Pole. The journey was completed alone, without assistance, and in complete self-sufficiency.
The name of the collection refers to the French Concordia Station, a permanent research base located in the heart of Antarctica at an altitude of more than 3,200 meters. This connection to the station also serves as a nod to the first watch in the collection and to the expedition that gave rise to CONCORDIA.

CONCORDIA GMT, a new generation
In 2026, CONCORDIA returns with a structural renewal of the range and a more vibrant and dynamic spirit. The collection will be available in automatic GMT and quartz versions, while the new offering aims to provide a more accessible price through the inclusion of a new movement in the automatic version.

The CONCORDIA GMT is priced at €645, while the version with a steel bracelet is priced at €695. The collection is presented in five colors: Antarctic Blue, Black, Tundra, Burgundy, and Sage.
The renewal also introduces several design changes, including a double-domed sapphire crystal, new hour markers, and a new position for the date window. The diving watch line also receives a new design as part of this structural renewal of the collection.

Specifications for exploration
The CONCORDIA GMT is equipped with a Japanese automatic movement manufactured by Seiko, caliber NH34, with a 41-hour power reserve. Its 40.5 mm case is made of 316L stainless steel and offers 30 ATM water resistance, supported by its screw-down crown.

The watch has a case thickness of 11.75 mm without the crystal and weighs 73 grams. The double-domed sapphire crystal is complemented by a flat transparent sapphire case back. Its functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date, and GMT, accompanied by a minute scale and Super-LumiNova® luminescence on the dial.
A tool-free interchangeable strap system completes the design, allowing the strap to be changed easily. The lug width is 20 mm, according to the information provided for this new generation.

The CONCORDIA spirit continues
From a solo expedition across Antarctica to the waves of Finnmark, CONCORDIA continues to build its identity around exploration and the stories born along the way. In 2026, CHARLIE brings that spirit back with a renewed collection that combines new design solutions, an automatic GMT offering, and an identity that has been connected from the beginning to those who find in every journey an opportunity to discover something new.
