Bell & Ross becomes an official partner of the Rafale Solo Display, the Rafale flight demonstration program operated by the French Air and Space Force. The partnership was presented during the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget and expands the brand’s presence alongside aviation professionals, following its collaboration with the Patrouille de France.

A relationship built around aviation

Since 1994, Bell & Ross has developed instrument watches for aviation professionals. The brand has strengthened this focus through collaborations with civilian and military pilots, elite units, and air forces. In 2021, it established its partnership with the Patrouille de France, and now adds the Rafale Solo Display to this history.

The Rafale Solo Display show

The Rafale Solo Display team is made up of pilots and mechanics from the French Air and Space Force and is part of its official ambassador program. During each performance, the pilot carries out nine minutes of maneuvers at speeds ranging from 200 to 1,100 km/h, adapting to different weather conditions.

The demonstrations highlight the Rafale’s agility and capabilities, making it one of the leading combat aircraft produced by its manufacturer, Dassault Aviation. They also reflect the philosophy of Marcel Dassault, who emphasized the relationship between beauty and performance in aircraft design.

A chronograph designed for flight

The BR-03 Chrono Rafale Solo Display has been designed to accompany the pilot under demanding flight conditions. Its 42 mm case is made of black ceramic with a sandblasted finish and houses the automatic BR-CAL.301 movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve.

The matte black dial features a yellow dotted line around the date window and two orange hands for the chronograph functions. The main elements are treated with white Super-LumiNova® X1 with green emission, while the sapphire crystal features an anti-reflective coating.

A limited edition of 500 pieces

The BR0394-RSD-CE offers hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and a chronograph with a 30-minute counter, along with a tachymeter scale on the flange. Water resistance reaches 100 meters, while the pushers are engraved with “START” and “RESET” and filled with orange and yellow lacquer.

The watch is completed by a black perforated rubber and highly resistant black synthetic fabric strap featuring the Rafale Solo Display logo, along with a black PVD pin buckle.

Limited to 500 pieces, the BR-03 Chrono Rafale Solo Display represents the new collaboration between Bell & Ross and the French flight demonstration team, bringing the functional codes associated with the Rafale to the watch.
