BELL & ROSS BR-03 GREEN RADAR CERAMIC: REDEFINING THE WAY WE READ TIME

With the BR-03 Green Radar Ceramic, Bell & Ross presents a new interpretation of one of its most iconic creations. Limited to 999 pieces, this model revisits the Radar concept, first introduced in 2010, and adapts it for the first time to the 41 mm BR-03 case. Its green and black dial transforms timekeeping into a visual experience inspired directly by the screens used in aircraft cockpits and air traffic control centers.

From Aviation Screens to the Wrist

The Radar collection has evolved through editions released in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2021. From the original BR-01 RADAR to the BR-03-92 Red Radar Ceramic, each version has reinterpreted the traditional way of displaying time. The Green Radar Ceramic introduces a new color combination and brings together, for the first time, aircraft silhouettes and their luminous trails on the same dial, recreating the visual language of an actual radar screen.

Three Aircraft in Constant Motion

Instead of conventional hands, the watch uses three independent rotating discs, each featuring the silhouette of an aircraft that represents a different unit of time. The Falcon indicates the hours, completing one full rotation every twelve hours. The Rafale displays the minutes, completing one rotation every sixty minutes, while the Neuron indicates the seconds, completing one rotation every sixty seconds. Their luminous trails enhance the sense of movement, while the fixed graduations beneath the sapphire crystal create a second visual layer reminiscent of an air traffic control screen.

High-Tech Materials Meet Mechanical Engineering

The 41 mm case is made of microblasted black ceramic, a high-tech material known for its scratch resistance. Inside, the automatic BR-CAL.327 movement provides a power reserve of 54 hours. The design is completed by a green-tinted sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and a dial composed of three black discs with a green gradient. Each disc features Super-LumiNova® Dark Green markings that emit green light. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters and comes with black rubber and ultra-resistant black synthetic fabric straps, along with a folding clasp made of polished and satin-finished steel.

A Distinctive Vision of Watchmaking

With the BR-03 Green Radar Ceramic, Bell & Ross continues to develop its Flight Instruments collection, translating the visual language of aviation into watchmaking design. The combination of three aircraft, rotating discs and green tones makes the dial the centerpiece of a creation that brings together creativity, technical complexity and mechanical precision. Limited to 999 pieces, this edition advances the Radar concept while preserving the connection between watchmaking and the world of aviation.
