The story of Micromilspec is as unconventional as it is inspiring. It all began with a clear vision: to become the reference point for modern professional watches, with a strong focus on functionality and real-world utility.

What’s most surprising is how quickly everything came together. In just two weeks from the initial concept, the brand managed to sell its first 400 watches to a military unit, even before establishing production. This momentum allowed them to secure a pre-order for 1,000 pieces, which led them straight to Switzerland to begin structuring the manufacturing.

Behind this rapid progress is Henrik Rye, the CEO and Co-founder of Micromilspec, who already had previous experience in the watch industry. Thanks to his knowledge and network of contacts, he was able to quickly access key suppliers and turn an idea into a tangible product.

Functional Design and Focus on Real Tools

From the start, Micromilspec has maintained a clear philosophy: to create tool watches. Their collection includes divers, field watches, and three-hand pieces, all designed with a practical purpose and no unnecessary elements.

A strong aesthetic identity is another of their key strengths. Each model is instantly recognizable, something that not only attracts enthusiasts but also builds a solid brand coherence.

One of the most interesting aspects is the development of customized pieces and extremely limited editions. For example, the brand created a special timepiece for Erling Haaland, adding to its exclusive offerings. From watches created for military units to unique pieces for private individuals like executives or collectors, the brand maintains a discreet yet exclusive approach to its collaborations.

International Growth and Cult Status Pieces

Currently, the most important market for Micromilspec is the United States, accounting for nearly 40 percent of its sales. They are followed by countries like Singapore, France, and the United Kingdom, which shows a well-defined global presence.

At the same time, some of their prototypes have started to acquire cult status among collectors. Even pieces not intended for sale have generated interest, with people attempting to acquire unique models directly from the design studio.

This phenomenon reinforces the idea that Micromilspec doesn’t just make watches, but objects with history, character, and purpose.

In a highly competitive industry, this proposal stands out for its authenticity, speed of execution, and a vision that combines experience, design, and functionality without compromise.
