WRK — short for Watchmaking Research Kinematics — presents itself as advanced horology engineering, with the stated aim of pushing the boundaries of what is possible in watchmaking in order to redefine the art of horology. The house is committed to craftsmanship and attention to detail, and organises its work around three principles. The first is design: the philosophy behind each WRK timepiece is the fusion of art and engineering, where aesthetics seamlessly coalesce with functionality. The second is engineering: technique driven with precision and passion, manufacturing calibres using lightweight materials to showcase the beauty of time and the moments of life. The third is ergonomics, treated as central from the earliest concepts, with the dimensions of the case, the curve profile and the pressure points on the wrist all assessed to ensure the best wearing experience.

The brand works with a network of Swiss specialists: Le Cercle des Horlogers for movement, casing, testing and quality control; FSmicromec for case and components; Kyburz for glass; and Atelier du Bracelet Genève for straps. Its timepieces are produced in strictly limited runs of grade 5 titanium. The ACF-01 was built from 187 parts; the ACF-02 followed as an automatic with 48 parts and a 72-hour power reserve; and the current ACF-03, a manual-wind souscription model limited to 24 pieces, weighs 32 grams and offers a 60-hour power reserve from a 48-part construction.
