VOXEL is an independent watchmaking maison built on the meeting of French design and Swiss precision, working under the motto 'Time Across Horizons' and describing its output as a horology of presence: timepieces designed to be lived with, not merely observed. Its premise is that time is not an abstraction but something lived through, experienced and worn, and each creation is conceived as an object of presence — a mechanical architecture worn on the wrist, designed to accompany contemporary rhythms. The maison combines French creative direction with Swiss engineering expertise and builds proprietary in-house complications.

VOXEL was born from the synergy of two complementary trajectories united by a shared drive for innovation, bringing together more than 30 years of combined expertise: entrepreneurial vision and artistic sensibility on one side, high-level micro-mechanical engineering on the other. Founder and creative director Thibault Luc is an entrepreneur working at the intersection of technology and watchmaking, who founded his first watch brand, Aight, in 2012 and led numerous artistic collaborations through it — including an exclusive contemporary art collection with the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Driven by a passion for travel, music, architecture and design, he conceived VOXEL in 2022 and leads its creative vision. Co-founder and technical director Bruno Herbet is a microtechnology engineer trained in the Vallée de Joux who developed his expertise alongside some of Switzerland's most respected watchmakers and maisons; with more than 15 years dedicated to movement development, prototyping and industrialisation, and expertise in complications and mechanical architecture, he oversees the technical vision from concept to production. The house works to a four-stage discipline — concept, prototype, industrialise, reveal — where nothing reaches the wrist before it reaches precision. Its first creation is the Meridion, built around a proprietary 12/24 jumping-hours system.
