The name MUREX was not chosen by chance. It derives from a shell whose principal property, in Antiquity, was the production of purple — a deep red dye reserved exclusively for the elite. In 2025, Murex undertook a redesign of its visual identity — Better in Purple — returning to its creative origins and reaffirming the values encoded in its name: tradition, ambition, and a futuristic vision of the mid-range watch segment.
