Max Twelve is a fully independent Swiss watch brand designed and assembled in Zurich, founded by Fabian Lehner, Dipl. Ing. ETH — an engineer who set out to bring the technologies of Swiss precision engineering into watchmaking. The brand was born out of the spirit of adventure and the bravery to push beyond the status quo, operating entirely free from corporate constraints and industry convention.
Every Max Twelve watch is made to order, hand-finished, and assembled one by one in the brand's own Zurich atelier. All parts are made in Switzerland. The manufacturing process follows twelve documented steps, from a case CNC-milled from a solid block of material to titanium dials cut with precision laser technology and hand-ground before anodisation — an electrical oxidation process derived from medical industry techniques. Movement and dial mounts are milled directly into the case, eliminating conventional dial pins that could break under shock. Each case is secured with six Torx screws and sleeve nuts.
Max Twelve's design philosophy is built on engineering minimalism: "the art of designing a product as simply as possible while achieving an optimal solution with minimal components." The brand integrates technologies from medical and machine engineering, applies fair wages and responsible ESG practices, and sources its production locally in Switzerland.
"Engineering precision with bold innovation drives us to challenge the status quo and redefine the future of watchmaking."
