Lebois & Co is a Swiss Made watch brand with a story spanning nearly a century. Founded in 1934 by Raymond Dodane — a third-generation watchmaker from the renowned Dodane family — the brand set out with a clear mission: to create aesthetically pleasing, luxury Swiss timepieces at an affordable price. After decades of production, including supplying chronographs to Swedish Air Force pilots during WWII, the brand fell dormant following the Quartz Crisis in the early 1970s. In 2014, avid watch collectors Tom and Eveline van Wijlick rediscovered Lebois & Co through a Christie's auction, and — with the blessing of the Dodane family — revived the brand exactly eighty years after its founding. The modern chapter of Lebois & Co is defined by community and transparency: it became the first luxury Swiss Made mechanical watch successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2015, later opened its equity to over 75 investors through a 'Become a Shareholder' campaign, and pioneered co-creation through its CoLAB programme.
