FineWatchesBerlin is a Berlin watch brand run by father and daughter Wilfried and Mia-Phyllis Liefer. Wilfried first had the idea of creating his own watch series almost thirty years ago, and in 2017 he finally found the time to bring it to life together with his daughter, combining his long professional experience with her training and artistic talent. Developed with renowned partners and made in first-class production facilities, the watches follow a design language inspired by the Bauhaus, with clear lines and bold use of contrast and colour, under the motto "From Berlin with Love".
Each collection is named after a Berlin landmark. The TeufelsBerg, named after the hill that is now a hotspot for street art and events, uses a modified Miyota 8218 automatic in a 40.5 mm case with sapphire crystal front and back and 50 m of water resistance. The HansaViertel pays tribute to the Hansaviertel district and its Bauhaus ideals: a 40.5 mm, 11.4 mm-thick 316L steel case water resistant to 100 m, a modified Miyota 8315 automatic with a 60-hour power reserve and a date at six o'clock, an engraved rotor and blued screws, made in Ruhla, Germany. Prices start at around €698, and the range also includes limited editions, straps and accessories.
