Findeisen is a German watch brand that has been making mechanical wristwatches in Nuremberg since 2017. Its name dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was given to people who worked with iron, and the founder's branch of the family traces its roots from the Gerdauen area to the Erzgebirge around Zschopau. The link with watches came in the 1960s, when Max Findeisen, great-grandfather of founder Martin Zettl, personalised the dial of his own watch with his name. Decades later that gesture became the idea for a brand, and Martin Zettl chose Nuremberg, a city tied to the history of portable timekeeping through Peter Henlein, as its home.
The NauticMaster dive watch comes in two versions: a Swiss Edition powered by the Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré, now joined by the NauticMaster Viator GMT with the Sellita SW330-2 Elaboré and a 24-hour bezel that tracks three time zones, and a Manufaktur Edition driven by the German Damasko A26.2 Top, made with around 90% production depth in Germany. The SpeedForce is a 44 mm racing chronograph with Damasko's C51.6 manufacture calibre, a silicon escape wheel and central chronograph seconds and minutes, limited to 35 pieces in each of its three versions. The collection is completed by the 44 mm Königsberg Chronograph, a homage to Immanuel Kant, and the three-hand Allenstein Automatik, with prices from around €1,165 to €4,985.
