The journey began with founder Enrico Damiani, whose skills as a master goldsmith soon made him a point of reference in the world of traditional jewelry and among distinguished noble families. He was succeeded by his son Damiano, whose creative and pioneering mind paved the way for profound changes in the design of the jewels, opening up to new trends and conquering an increasingly international audience. The helm then passed to Damiano's three children — Guido, Silvia and Giorgio — who continue to interpret the house's history of excellence with an innovative spirit. Today Damiani holds a unique position in the jewelry world as the only international name still present in Valenza, in the territory of its origin.

The family still purchases diamonds, precious gemstones and pearls from the children of their father's suppliers, and selects its stones through the 10Cs, an exclusive system of values that goes beyond the traditional international criteria. The house holds the unparalleled record of 18 Diamonds International Awards, the World Oscars for Jewellery, and its signature collections include Belle Époque, Margherita, Belle Époque Reel and Mimosa. Damiani is the founding Maison of the Damiani Group, which also comprises Salvini, Bliss and Calderoni in jewelry, the historic Murano glassmaker Venini, the multi-brand watch and jewelry retailer Rocca, and — since 2026 — the Swiss watchmaker Baume & Mercier.
