Chronoswiss is a distinguished Swiss watch manufacturer celebrated for its dedication to traditional mechanical watchmaking and innovative designs. Founded in 1983 by master watchmaker Gerd-Rüdiger Lang, the brand played a pivotal role in the renaissance of mechanical timepieces during an era dominated by quartz technology. Chronoswiss is renowned for pioneering the first serially produced wristwatch with a regulator dial, the Régulateur, in 1987, which showcased separate displays for hours, minutes, and seconds—a design inspired by classical precision clocks. Over the years, the company has continued to innovate, introducing notable models like the Opus, a skeletonized chronograph, and the Flying Regulator series, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
