Swiss Tradition and Creativity
The Swiss house Berney , with over five decades of history, presents its most iconic creation: the Panda, a ring-watch that celebrates the balance between watchmaking precision and the art of jewelry. Born in the family workshop in L’Abbaye, this piece reflects the brand’s philosophy: combining mechanical tradition with creative innovation, always under the 100% Swiss Made seal.
Exceptional Design and Details
The Panda is presented in an oval ring measuring 16 mm in diameter and 6 mm thick, crafted in 750 white gold. The panda figure comes to life thanks to Grand Feu enamel, fired at 800°C multiple times to achieve a deep, luminous black, while its polished onyx eyes capture light in an almost magical way. A translucent bamboo branch adds a poetic touch.
The ring-watch is set with 128 diamonds totaling 1.069 carats (F-G VS quality) and houses an ETA 901.001 quartz movement, with a two-year battery life, combining Swiss precision and elegance in a compact design just 6 mm thick.
Craftsmanship and Excellence
Each Panda requires three to five months of work, combining lost-wax casting, enameling and stone setting techniques with a final assembly that fits the movement into a very small space. More than an accessory, this ring-watch is a manifesto of watchmaking and jewelry creativity, a tribute to elegance and the family tradition that defines Berney .
